This is a bestbuy story but it still meets the futureshop problems:)  Bear with me.  I am traveling to bestbuy to buy a laptop.  I get to bestbuy with my girlfriend who is 3 months pregnant at the time.  I see the laptop that I want and I notice that there are 3 sales guys standing over in the software aisle.  One looks over at me and I look at the laptop.  He looks back to the other sales guys.  I then preceed to shut the system down and go in to the BIOS.  Note I am younger looking.  Right away this sales guy comes over and says ” what the hell are you doing?”  I said I needed help and no one came up.  He then appoints some guy call him Bob to help me.  I get the laptop and pay the sales guy with platinum mastercard (yes this is important).  I go home and start setting it up everything is cool.  I call my buddy and he comes over and wants a laptop like mine and if I pick one up tomorrow for him he will pay me.  No Problem.  I go into bestbuy about err 330pm by myself to get the other laptop.  Im in a little bit of a hurry.  I go over to the laptops like yesterday and no one is there.  I get frustrated after 3 minutes and I see this big tall goofy slanky looking guy with ears pierced … you get the picture.  And I say to him “can you run to the back and get this laptop for me!” He looks at me like I was going to be killed by him in an ally.  HA.  He asks what I am using the laptop for.  I say that its for gps and wireless net.  He says that it is slow and wont work and the gps wont pick up the signal.  I proceed to tell him to get the laptop.  He comes back and says “can i interest you in..” I cut him off.  “No i dont want psp.”  And I told him about the day before.  Now he assures me that this wont happen and im an idiot for thinking this way.  Thats fine.  I tell him that i am a secert shopper and this is BS I have to deal with this crap and I tell him that there will be a write up on him.  WOW 360 he kisses my ass!!!!!!!!!  He asks how i am going to pay for this.  I say “platinum mastercard’ and i throw it on the counter.  “can i see some id?”  I said “for what?”  “the credit card is used to buy big ticket items by credit card theifs.”  I LOSE IT.  I said “you cannot ask me for ID because only if you buy items that are age restricted from the government you can ask.”  He says he must see my ID.  I said “get the manager err infact show me the manager and ill go talk to him.”  No no no its ok ill let it go he says.  (Im well over the age of 19 to buy a laptop trust me!)  I get the laptop and go the the (walmart greeter type chick) front and tell her he is an asshole and im a secret shopper.  She says she is sorry and asks if i want to talk to a manager.  I said no i got no time and she goes and tells the manager.  I leave.Sorry for spelling and grammar I have lots of work to do still.  Side note.  I am a computer technition that deals mostly with hardware.  I worked with a guy who was a former tech for futureshop and he says its all BS there.  The psp is not even covered half of the time by futureshop its always sent out.  If the repair is 30 days and they have to fix it again it is counted as 1 repair yes.  BUT if they have to REfix the problem then it is a fuckup by the tech guy and it is free and your PSP is refunded!!!Side note 2.  I bought the laptop in summer of 2005 No problems with either laptop and since then I have not seen that goof there!  The price for the laptop in the summer of 2005 is cheaper that the price now.  I have watched it since.  It did MATCH that price once but it was a giftcard not cash as the redemption.Side note 3.  System works perfect with gps!!!!!!!!!!!’
