I have enough of Futureshop breaking the Law I refuse to ever shop at Best Buy and Futureshop. They advertise something on their webpage then when you purchase it they say its a mistake and they have the right to refuse anything they want. Unfortunatly just because you write it doesnt mean its legal. A disclaimer must remain in the confindments of the law “Consumer Protection Act, R.S.Q., c. P-40.1 Section 219.  Consumer Protection Act, R.S.Q., c. P-40.1 Section 219. No merchant, manufacturer or advertiser may, by any means whatever, make false or misleading representations to a consumer. If anyone has experienced something like this with futureshop let me know because I will be filling a legal complaint against their business behavior

That is all fine… except for the disclaimer on the website. Websites are maintained by people who occasionally make mistakes. They are clearly not breaking the law. You are just interpreting the law from one viewpoint and not another. Your complaint will find a nice home in the toilet.

true that FutureWhat

in 4 years of working there i have never seen a flyer with out corretions it happens every single one.. i kid you not… i was the one that had to put them out all the time sometimes they wont even post a correction notice most of the time its save 30 dollars when its actually save 0…. constantly see that all the time.. i have changed tags over 4 years alot of times the sales are regular price they just change the tag from reg to sale and you save 30 dollars.. wow.. then they post a correction notice half way through the week.. i kid you not i think they do it on purpose because i have never seen a proper flyer and i always see these sale but not sale prices all the time..
