We purchased a dishwasher on Dec 24th 2008 form FutureShop.ca. It was finally delivered on Jan 7th
We had it installewd and on the first load it leaked all over the floor through a bad seal in the bottom. I called that night Jan 9th to report the defective dishwasher. I was told I would be contacted by someone from HDS within 48 business hours. Well we are on day 12 and NO ONE has EVER contacted us to give us an update.
We have made 7 calls to them now and everytime we get the same false promise that someone will contact us within 48 hours. We have talked to floor support and to the supervisor of floor support and still no answers. They always pass the buck and take no responsibility for their lack of action. They always say that it is in the hands of HDS and there is no way for anyone to contact them.
I know we made the purchase online but there is one in stock at our local FS just down the street and they still say they can’t locate a replacememnt?
They have 24 hours to get back to me with real answers

While I understand your frustration, I have to ask, would you go to an appliance store for a TV. Then why go to a FS for a dishwasher. I don’t know where you live but in Vancouver we have some awsome appliance stores and they are super competitive, I bet you could get a good deal at an appliance store where you live, even a far as matching the FS price, Just a thought.
