I tried calling a future shop store to inquire if they had a particular product available in stock.. the girl who answered the phone almost sounded as if I interrupted her favorite TV program or something.

They just ended up routing me to different extensions where no one would pick up the phone… I actually let the phone ring for quite a while as I was still browsing the website – eventually someone picked up without saying anything – and then it was like I was on hold or something.

I don’t know if anyone else has ever experienced this kind of thing.. doesn’t leave me too motivated to buy from them.

This was a location near Mavis and 401 in Mississauga (can’t say all of them are the same).

Wow this sounds familar, i was calling the brandon, mb store seeing if my labtop was done from repair because the guy told me that last friday it should be done, so i called that day the phone rang a very long time, three times and only once did someone answer i gave my info to someone who said i tech would call me back, i waited a few days no call back. This is when i started calling, i’ve called over 7 times since tuesday and the phone has rang and rang over 10 rings and i just hang up. I have no clue what’s up with the tech service people that they aren’t answering the phone. I’ve called a few minutes after they’ve open i’ve called though the whole day random times, no one is answering, and its making me mad. I live over 2 hrs away from this store and just want to check the status of my labtop repair!

okay so there isnt always someone at the phone in every department, there are customers that actually go in and look at products those customers have to be helped first, if there isnt any customers there shouldnt be a problem but whos to say there was or wasnt customers there that day, just my point of view from what i see at my location (025)

Dudes you have to realize that the stores don’t have dedicated phone staff. The employees help out customers in the store FIRST and then answer the phones.

And phones are not for detailed questions, just general quick enquiries.

Well, Prions you must be the only one who likes these stores. I am having a problem with them right now and by the looks it is getting to court.
I called their customer 1-800 # to complain and the useless CSR said to write an email to their service department, which I did.
This was the reply I got within 5min (I pasted and copied this, watch the typos):
Thank you for your email regarding the issues with the Fido iPhone. I do apologise for the customer service that you recieved at the London sotre. We do strive to give the best customer services to each and every person. What I have done for you is to esclate this issue, to the managers. You should recieve a call within 2-3 business days, if there is any more information that you may need.

Again I do apologise for the inconveniences this has caused you.

I received this email Nov18, 2009 and I’m still waiting for the call……

They are all useless as tits on a boar, not only one store.

Dude, you are the same a**hole that would get mad if you actually got off your a** and went to the store and someone was on the phone with another dick like you!! If you are too lazy, shop online retard.

If your issue is so serious that you’re considering court then I would suggest going down to the store to talk to a manager.
