I bought a 32″ Tv at Future Shop. The TV did not have all of the functions the “salesperson” told me (big surprise). I was 1 day over the 30 day return policy so I called Futureshop Customer Service and all they could tell me is that they are sorry but that is their policy. They stated that I could call the store and that they are sorry…well sorry is not going to replace the TV or my hard earned money. Then they told me that I could call the manufacturer. So I asked them “So after thirty days, it’s no longer your problem?” They basically said yes and then….you guessed it…sorry. Then they wonder why they are losing business to Walmart or Costco. My guess would be that unlike Future Shop, they care about their customers and want repeat business and don’t “shaft” their customers. Futureshop does not care…this is evident from their “sales staff”. I will shop for my electronics elsewhere.

so the 30 days you had weren’t enough time to decide you never liked your purchase it would have been better for you if you had 31 lol what a joke after a week or two you should know that you need to return a purchase. most companies only give you 2 weeks. future shop is a large company and policys are there so the minimum wage staff has rules to follow. how is this the stores fault that you left your return to long.!!!

oh and btw “costco” is refurbished items so goodbye new electronics…

You bought the television knowing full well that the return policy is 30 Days. They set a limit somewhere, what makes you think that you’re so special that you can ignore it?

You had a month to return it. You were lazy.

You seem to think as though you are better than anyone that shops at F Shop. F**k that, you are a retard I hate reading your posts on here even if they arent to me. If any of these people were talking to you in person Im pretty sure they would rip off your head and shit down your throat cuz I know I want to.

some place don’t even allow you to return a tv, or they charge you restocking fee. Futureshop a offering 30 days to try your stuff. 30 days.

it’s 4 week… you can watch and try enough your tv to notice that you dont like it and return it…

Every company has flexibility with their policies, and one day should not make any difference. They just don’t want to do a refund! Whoever “for Real” is….you’re a brain dead moron! It sounds like most of the people who respond to upset CUSTOMERS who post here are FS employees….talk about biased! Is this site actually created by FS to create a public defense to poor staff, allot of poor quality goods and terrible service?

First off to REAL…, Costco is NOT refurbished…you are a moron if you believe this. Sorry but you are making stuff up or trusting your cat but either way you’re completely wrong. Sorry.
Secondly, 30 days is more than enough time to test a prouduct so it is not the stores fault for not taking it back. Suck it up buttercup. Sorry.
Thirdly, if this blog is in fact owned/censored by FS in any way, I will know based on a post I just did. It was not lude or offensive, it is the truth so it should go on this non-partisan site like buttah…if I find out this is not the case, for as little as $20 a year I can get a URL and with my SEO knowledge and advertising skills (3+ years in the industry baby) I will burn this site to the ground…
This post should make it up soon I hope.

Profanity is the refuge of the incompetent.

You bought the product and Future Shop generously gave you a 30 Day return policy. That’s four weeks and they won’t even charge you a restocking fee. That’s the agreement you made with Future Shop when you bought the television.

You are not special. If you could return it after 31 Days then what is the point of setting a 30 Day limit?

Another thing about Costco, you have to PAY to shop there, so yeh they better dam return something out side of policy. Also true, most big ticket electronic stores (the brick Leons) either don’t have a return policy at all or will charge you up the ass to return it!!

Wow! Just by reading the posts you can really tell who the employees are.

I don’t think there is a single responder to this post that actually read the post. Every single one of you just read the “31st” day part. What I read is this tv did not have the features he was promised by the sales guy. Granted 4 weeks is ussually enough time but what if you don’t need a feature until much later than the return policy and you don’t think of it until you actually need it? Does it still make it alright that he was lied to about what the product had? What I think is that FS should have honoured what their employee said and maybe not return the product but rather give him what he was promised in the first place.

I am guessing that most of us are educated. Educated people can read, try it.

Why is anyone that disagrees with the poster a fs employee?

No matter who you work for, if you can’t get your ass into a store to return a product and get your “hard earned money” back, then you don’t deserve it.

I, however, do agree with the poster, if the sales person lied to them, some sort of exchange should’ve been done, that’s the fairest solution to me.

Something to say?
