All TX model owners should know that their computer has a known defect in the NVidia GPU and Wireless adapters. You will notice your fan running on high and spewing air hot enough to cook a hot dog. Then, your wireless will stop working. Then your display will crap out. Future Shop techs pretend that they know nothing about it but, I have inside information that says they are very aware and are inundated with repairs that involve replacing the entire motherboard. I was lucky enough to have the problem appear before my warranty expired and am currently having it “repaired” but have been warned that the repair is temporary as they replace the components with the same defective parts. HP is aware of this problem yet refuses to recall the laptops. Lesson learned is to never trust a FS sales person as they know nothing about what they are selling. Never trust a FS tech as they are instructed to give false information about known issues with their products. Never, I mean NEVER buy another HP product as they will fail and when they do they will not warranty the item.

Whats that you say. You overheated your tablet by demanding too much from it and then you blamed the reseller rather than the manufacturer. Bravo! Knowingly giving false information, like you suggest, is illegal and is not done. where do you get your information from anyhow? dipshits-R-us??

Whats that? Another future shop employee browsing the posts and leaving scathing remarks to people who dare to mock their position as a FS salesboob? And what an A-Typical response for a FS salesboob to leave…

“You overheated your tablet by demanding too much from it”

… I’ll just fill in the rest of the conversation for you…

“… and therefor, we won’t be honoring your warranty. But, If you like, we’ll send it off and have our technicians repair it for hundreds of dollars.”

They do everything they can to defer the blame back to the manufacturer and take no responsibility for the product they are peddling to you.

Just remember that knowingly giving false information is called lying and it is not illegal, it is the entire premis of the sales position. However you choose to word it, knowingly selling a product you know nothing about and having no intention of backing… is the same as lying through your teeth.

here again I’m not defending anyone, some tech are not representative of what they should do. They are Service alert about those laptop. and I dont think they are giving the manufacture all the blame. But the technician are only there between you and HP. If you are not satisfied from the service, then call hp : 1-800-hp-invent

they are only doing the job they was told to do.

So the bottom line, you blame FS for faulting the TX that are MADE BY HP, sold by FS. Smart. You think FS are the only ones who sells those? Get off your high horse. Thanks for wasting my time Mr/Ms ignorant customer.

PS. Get one thing in your head: Get that in your head, they are not FS’s products, they sell them, not make them. They are not FS’s products, they sell them, not make them. They are not FS’s products, they sell them, not make them. They are not FS’s products, they sell them, not make them. They are not FS’s products, they sell them, not make them. They are not FS’s products, they sell them, not make them.

-From a everyday customer that treats FS employees like humans, not animals, like some do.
