people talk on the job all the time, but then u also hear of people complainging that employees never leave them alone because all theyre looking for is to make money. its kind of silly to complain about both situations

Followed one employee down the aisle while looking at the games. She kept going and 2 employees came up from the other side of the aisle. The 3 of them stopped in the aisle and blocked any way thru. I finally got tired of waiting for them to finish their meeting in the middle of the aisle. I asked them to plz move to I could look at the games. I was greeted with scowls and mumbling but they managed to move slowly out of my way. I gave up buying appliances there as I have waited over an hour before leaving the store without being served. 1 person to serve the 6 people trying to buy an appliance is chaos. I stayed the longest and finally went somewhere else. After this happened 3 times I bought appliances somewhere else. I own 2 homes with rental suites so replace appliances often.

I agree that Prions needs to think before he opens his mouth or in this case, logs on to his computer. I did not just ’stand there’ looking weird, I walked around, and it was obvious that I was looking for help; in most stores an employee will offer to help, that is part of their job, but these guys were obviously not interested, they seemed to just want to socialize with one another. Prions, do you work there, if so tell your fellow employees to smarten up and look as if they’re there to be helpful. To the others who replied to Prions, there is no need to be rude and name calling and use vulgar language on this site as well.

And yet in every store I’ve been to the employees are almost annoyingly omnipresent. I’ve talked to friends and they complain that the salespeople won’t leave them alone.

This site has bipolar. Some posts complain that the salespeople keep asking if they need help and despair that it’s because of commission while others say the store is a ghost town.

Which one is it?

Prions,, shut the hell up. Here’s a tip: Future Shop needs to get their sales people to engage customers better. I go in there ever couple of weeks and I always see people yakking, I always have to engage them. Shit, a dog at least recognizes a new object and goes over for a sniff. Should I wipe some hot dog on me next time I go in there? What a joke you are, such a peasant and you smell like a futureshop employee so give it up.
